Meet Your Somatic Enneagram Coach

    Hi, I'm Caryn
    (she/her)

Caryn Berley — Enneagram Teacher & Somatic Practitioner

Trained as a social worker, I now play the roles of Enneagram Teacher, Somatic Practitioner, and Transformationalist — where I inspire insight and wield wisdom in service of your Inner Knowing.

I believe you can live a life that honors all of who you are and benefits humanity as a whole.

In 2017, I was on track to becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker when it became apparent that I was woefully out of touch with my own intuition. I experienced burnout, depression, confusion, and doubt. In advocating for others, I had lost sight of who I was.

It was around then that the Enneagram found me. It made me feel seen on a deeper level than I had previously experienced. It gave me language for the familiar patterns I hadn't fully had language for.

I dug in. I found support to hold me as I sorted through who I was and who I wasn't, and let old ways of being fall away.

What I have come to know is that as we practice presence, we are able to see ourselves, each other, and reality more clearly. We can develop the capacity to meet our anger, grief, fear, pain, and discomfort with compassionate curiosity.

I'm still digging in. I'm still letting outdated stories go. It's my biggest delight in life to offer you the invitation to do the same.

I lead with Type 9 and lean toward my 1 wing — social dominant subtype. I love building community around the Enneagram and hearing how it found you.

    How I Show Up

    My Core Values

    Radical Inclusion

Everything belongs. I'm committed to welcoming ALL parts of myself — especially those I've spent most of my life shaming, dismissing, or rejecting — with as much compassionate curiosity as I can, and supporting my clients as they learn to do the same.

    Mutuality

I fully expect my clients to benefit from our work together — and I fully expect to benefit from my clients. I don't coerce anyone into the work, and I will be honest if we're not a good fit. This work is sacred, and the growth is mutual.

    Flow

While I'm committed to getting uncomfortable, I refuse to force anything. Change is inevitable, and I trust that things will evolve in their own time. As I allow my own life force to flow through my work, I model that it is safe to trust your internal guidance systems.

    Collective Liberation

My deeper intention is to help us collectively awaken to the truth of how things are so we may choose to respond accordingly. I believe that when we see things more clearly, we are compelled to address systemic inequities and foster paradigm shifts.
